The new Messages can now be downloaded in OS X Lion

Apple today introduced its new operating system, OS X Mountain Lion, where he incorporated several new features that bring it closer to IOS and allow you to interoperate with it. One of these new options is Messages, whose beta is now available for download in OS X Lion(version 10.7.3).
At this time the application is being heavily downloaded, so there have been some problems to download it, but after downloading the 66 MB that weighs the software works well.

Messages IMessage integrates Apple's service, which until now was only available in IOS. So you can send messages from your Mac to an IOS device directly, and vice versa, using icloud account. The system also allows video conferencing through FaceTime. Messages will import all the contacts you have in iChat, so you can communicate with people who had already added there.

The complete and final version will appear in mid-year with Mountain Lion. In the meantime, you can download the free beta from the link below. If you tested it and tell us what was your experience.

WhatsApp for iPhone removed from Apple's App Store

WhatsApp has been removed from the App Store, The app had been removed from the itunes without any previous knowledge. The users were completely unknown about the fact that this app is being removed from the appstore. Surprisingly, the news we came to know yesterday via a tweet posted on the official account of the company:

The tweet posted on the official twitter account of whats app messenger was like below:

The reasons are not clear , in fact completely unknown. One can speculate security issues, some backdoor to know, but that Apple has discovered. Who knows.

And that's exactly what I've always been more concerned with WhatsApp: how little we know about how the application works, where are our messages, whether or not these are stored on their servers, if history or not, either know much about the company itself. The page describing the company just says it was founded by two people (names omitted) who previously worked at Yahoo!.

Even so is the network of mobile instant messaging and more popular choice for millions of people around the world and in the process save enough money by eliminating the use of SMS.

The unavailability of purchase WhatsApp in the App Store does not affect in any way sending and receiving messages, users simply do not already have and want to buy it for their iPhones, may not, at least temporarily.

[How to] Type special characters on Android and iPhone.

Yet, it’s quite difficult to type special characters on Android devices and iPhone. I am using android and experiencing it. I usually launch Character Map and I try to locate the letters with little hats, dots, accents and slashes. From there, I copy and paste the letters that I need. This process is more complicated and time consuming. when I wanted to send special characters via text messaging. I wondered if it was even possible. Generally, I have low expectations for mobile device performance. Yet, it was actually much easier to type special characters on Android than it was on my PC.
So, what’s the secret? Basically, just press and hold the letter that you want to have a special character. Say you want to put a little hat on the letter “a”. You just hold the “a” key and wait for the menu to pop up. From there, you can select the special addition you want to add. like ogoneks, diaereses, macrons, circumflexes, tildes and strokes. Even if you don’t have an Android device with a physical keyboard, the on-screen keyboard should work.
Well, I had actually had done this before. Yet, I forgotten about this cool feature. Since English is my primary (and pretty much only) language, I don’t use accents too often. But the next time I have to type the words résumé or cliché from my phone, I should be more prepared!

And just for fun, I also tried holding down a key on my Windows PC keyboard. But all I got was this…

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

This is it, just press that key for a while and you will see all the special characters related to that key. Still have problems? Comment below, i'll try to make them out of you life.
