Facebook Messenger is mandatory to send and receive messages

Starting this week, Facebook will no longer allow you to send and receive messages on mobile iOS and Android other than from the mobile site as well as for its separate Facebook Messenger app. Facebook warned users of the change for several months now. Users of Android and iOS Service should be notified via Facebook and email.

By April, Facebook had "forced" its European users to install the Messenger application on their smartphone in addition to the Facebook application. This selection was then interpreted as a way to fit more clearly in the explosion of mobile messaging services.

Facebook for example, had bought in February 2014 the mobile application WhatsApp messaging for $19 billion. The application had 450 million users - against 638 million for Facebook at that time.

Since then, "before the success" of its application in Europe, Facebook has decided to deploy this change for all users worldwide. Here's what Facebook told to Tech Crunch:
In the coming days, we will continue to inform more people about the fact that if they want to send and receive Facebook messages, they will have to download the Messenger application. As we have said, our goal is to focus on a development effort that will make Messenger the best experience possible mobile messaging and to avoid confusion caused by two experiences separate Facebook mobile messaging. Messenger is used by over 200 million people every month, and we will continue our work to make it a more appealing way to connect people with each other.
Only users of Android and iOS application, however, should experience this change. Nothing should change for example for users of Windows Phone, or Paper. And of course, the Facebook site, including mobile, will not be affected.

And you, will you regret the fact of not being able to chat directly from the Facebook app?

As we are used with Google Docs, but for all types of files.
Now, the newspaper The Wall Street Journal citing people knowledgeable about the issue, said that Google Drive would see the light within the next few "weeks or months" and this will also come hand in hand with an application for the Android mobile operating system for to access files from virtually anywhere.

Are they already a little tight on Dropbox or Box.net? No doubt the emergence of a service like this for as wide a mass of users (especially considering its application to enterprise level), integrating with other services and lowering prices.

Any new-new, we will be counting. Checkout Punk-tech alwayzzz!!! ;)

Google Images testing a new interface-related searches

Google is conducting several tests on your browser, and one has to do with image searches. If you use the image searches often, you know that one of the options is "related searches" to expand the results. For example typing "sky" will suggest "blue sky", "clear sky" among others in "Related Searches".

So far, they only have one link in each of the suggestions, but in the new interface that is testing Google will display three results with thumbnails for each option. That way, we need not redirecting directly to suggestions to find out if what we are looking for, but we have a preview with only support the mouse on the term that we present the "related searches".

It's just a test interface for the moment, so I am not sure that applies to all users yet.

This function is used to call both laptops, PCs or mobile.

Finally, Skype added an option to share screens, which can show what you are doing on your PC to the participants of the call. This is a Facebook app, incompatible with the safe navigation (https secure browsing), which allows choosing album, both your own as that of any contact, export to PDF format and can use the Express option or custom option, where in this case is that a set of parameters then generate the album and then go down to our local system.

The PDF generated will have a cover page with all the photos and then on the following pages will each photo individually. The last page warns against limiting the number of photographs to export, urging us to spend for the professional version.

It is an interesting option for cases in which we desire in our local systems of photographs of certain albums that have generated, arranging them in PDF files for possible queries locally (offline), or even if we print them, among other options that could give.
