[How To] Change the Priority of WiFi Networks in Windows 8

One of the most noticeable changes in Windows 8 is when using it for a longer time than that required for a simple test, is the lack of an option introduced in Windows 7 and that, I believe, should not have so hidden in Windows 8.

I mean the Wireless Profile manager or administrator wireless networking profile. And yes, although it is true that there are tools created by third parties in order to access this administrator in Windows 8, here we will show you how to do it natively, from the latest Microsoft operating system that is Windows 8.

The procedure is very easy, so do not fear if you're not familiar with the pictures I will place below.
Open a command window and Management writes:

netsh wlan show profiles

That will allow you to see all the networks you have connected and their priority.
Once you have that screen in sight, you'll want to know how to change that data. So for that, look at some special names. For example, if I show you the name of the interface (Wi-Fi in this case), and the name of the network you want to set as priority. Once you do that, type the following (remember to change the names):

netsh wlan September profileorder name = "w1r3l3 $ $" interface = "Wi-Fi" priority = 1

Just in case, I remember that the names should change according to your data are 'w1r3l3 $ $' with the name of your network, and 'Wi-Fi' by the name of your network interface.
That would be all. You see, the name 'w1r3l3 $ $' happened to be up, and the name must have you will have had the same change. I hope you found helpful.

If you would like GIF animated look at different pages of entertainment, you may have felt ever wanted to create your own GIF , is not it? Well, now I'll show you a quick and easy way to create GIF file from a video you have on your computer.

To do this, and as you might have supposed some, we need to have an application installed on the PC. The application name is Freemore Video to GIF Converter, and is available for both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows XP and later Windows OS versions, so I guess none of the users of this operating system will have trouble downloading this.

And before I begin to tell you how to convert videos in GIF, I must tell you that Freemore Video to GIF Converter accepts various video file formats that are more popular among users, such as AVI, MP4, MPEG, FLV, MOV to 3GP.

Now let's see what we found on the main interface of Freemore Video to GIF Converter (pictured above). Here we have 5 buttons on the top, of which the first, Input, you choose which video we convert to GIF . The others are to start (Start), stop (Stop), pause (Pause) or summarize (Resume) the conversion process. Furthermore, we will see that it gives us the option to have a preview GIF images we are going to create.

When we have the video selected, we can choose to convert all video to a GIF, or just a specific time of it. Where do we do that? On the right side of the window, we establish the exact seconds for the start and end of the GIF (Set Start and Set End, respectively).
Also Freemore Video to GIF Converter gives us the opportunity to choose the frame size and resolution that we want the GIF : 160 x 120, 320 x 240, 640 x 480, 1280 x 720, 1920 x 1080, etc. And when you have given everything, click on Start to begin the process of conversion to GIF.
That's it, what did you think? I hope you have been helpful.

[How To] Disable Advertisements from new uTorrent

uTorrent has evolved dramatically in recent times. They are trying to find a business model and although they seem to have found it with the next version. In uTorrent version 3.2.2, which is already available for download, and advertising is enabled at the top where it shows the download progress.
While advertising is not very annoying, beyond that bright yellow bar, and it is a help to the team behind the program, you may disable it to our liking.
This modification is not official, but it was published by one of the most relationships with the theme of torrents. The fact is that advertising can be disabled without removing some kind of return to the program by following these steps :

1. - Click the "Options" in the top right.
2.  - Select "Preferences"
2. - We enter "Advanced" at the top right, where Filter type "sponsored" to locate us ULR advertising.
3. - Once detected we click on it at the bottom mark it as "False".
4. - Restart uTorrent and it should be gone advertising on top.
In my case the lower advertising on the left did not disappear, which was in the top itself. As I mentioned, advertising only appears in the latest version of uTorrent , some people may have appeared a notice to update but it was not my case and I had to download it from the official website to prove it worked.

Android Device manager is now available: Locate your android smartphone remotely

A few days ago, Google introduced a new tool for devices with Android mobile operating system: Android Device Manager, which allows us to find our device through Google Maps in case of loss or theft, and also delete the data if necessary. Shortly after the announcement by Google, Android Device Manager is available for our devices and we can access the web application to locate our device.

Finally, Google begins to worry about the security of their devices, a concern that had started long ago, Google is also in the wake of Apple which introduced a virtually identical feature in iOS called Find My iPhone .

Today, smartphones are not only an important part of our daily communication, but also allow us access to a variety of applications and save documents and information relevant to employment. This means that in case of loss or theft, we must have to worry about the security of our data, proceed to change passwords, and more.
With Android Device Manager, we will be able to perform three specific actions:

  1. locate the device via GPS, marking the exact location on Google Maps.
  2. We will be able to activate an alarm will sound on the device, for example, to find it when you get lost in a house.
  3. In case of loss or theft, we will delete all files and data stored on your phone remotely.

The arrival of Android Device Manager seems excellent news, and in our tests it worked very well (try not to be at work if they test the alarm to not cause a scene). The security of our data, at least for Android users, should be a priority considering the many bugs that were discovered security in recent times.

Basically, you have already got Android Device Manager for our terminals: all features are available from the user's Google account. It is available for all those with an Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system or later, many of the low-end users, medium and high. To access the tool, you need to be connected from the web to the Google account associated with the device, and  then you can access the Android Device Manager from Android section of your account, or this link.
