[How to] Optimize | Increase the Speed of Your WiFi, 3G and 4G Android with Internet Speed Master

Unfortunately in South Asia Internet connections are a very slow, especially in countries such as India that is where I live. The 3G is almost nonexists with speed of 1Mbps or even in the morning when no one using the service, the speed is always slow. About 4G? it simply does not exist. Same with the WiFi, which is usually quite slow.

To improve this we can use Master Speed Internet, a completely free application for Android that will help make the connection to speedup more than existing speed. What it will do is apply a mod or tweak that is used in Linux systems that will allow the speed increase. The developer promises that this should work for both Android systems stock or custom.

The only requirement for this app is, you must have root in your phone to work, that is a rooted android device and give superuser permissions for just entering into the application. Then simply press a button that says "Apply Patch". There is also an option for those who do not have ROOT. If you want to go back to how it was before the system, the program lets you restore because it keeps a backup.

It may be that Internet Speed Master not work on some devices.

Are they already a little tight on Dropbox or Box.net? No doubt the emergence of a service like this for as wide a mass of users (especially considering its application to enterprise level), integrating with other services and lowering prices.

Google Images testing a new interface-related searches

Google is conducting several tests on your browser, and one has to do with image searches. If you use the image searches often, you know that one of the options is "related searches" to expand the results. For example typing "sky" will suggest "blue sky", "clear sky" among others in "Related Searches".

So far, they only have one link in each of the suggestions, but in the new interface that is testing Google will display three results with thumbnails for each option. That way, we need not redirecting directly to suggestions to find out if what we are looking for, but we have a preview with only support the mouse on the term that we present the "related searches".

It's just a test interface for the moment, so I am not sure that applies to all users yet.

[News] Btjunkie, one of the largest sites to find torrents is being closed!

This year 2012 has been particularly controversial in relation to freedom to share files over the Internet, with the fall of Megaupload the most emblematic of January. And now in February, perhaps a second major blow was the closing year of btjunkie.org, the larger torrents search engine on the planet, who has decided to close operations voluntarily.

BTJunkie closed by leaving the following message on the front page of its website:
"Friends, this is the end of the road. The decision was not easy, but we decided to close voluntarily. We have been fighting for years for your ability to communicate, but it is time to move on. It was an experience of a lifetime, we wish the best to all! "
Btjunkie opened in 2005 and so far, had the database file larger: four million exceeded assets, with about 4,200 added every day, offering a service very similar to the index The Pirate Bay torrents around the world will no longer work more.

Btjunkie never been involved in legal action, but the recent cases of MegaUpload and The Pirate Bay, where the founders have ended up in jail, played a role in closing the site, as reported Btjunkie to TorrentFreak .

This means that storage services are really frightened by these cases. Many of these services have already been linked to copyright infringement by hosting or allow sharing of protected content. It is unclear whether there will be more services to close because of this, but we can not exclude that other sites take the opportunity to try to fill the void left Btjunkie.
